I graduated with honours in Commerce in 1987 and since then have been running Gets Holidays, a leading travel company , with a turnover of 25 Million US Dollars and offices in Delhi and Hyderabad . I ‘ve a strong affinity towards traveling and it is traveling what I do and have been doing for the past 25 years of my life. My biggest passion is wildlife and most of my travel plan ended up savoring the flora and faunas in Indian jungles, studying and identifying the rich and diverse wildlife that exists there. Jim Corbett National Park happens to be my favorite venue. I’ve been there a good many of times and every time the jungles there offer something new for me to see. Many a time I assist groups of nature lovers to the area, take them deep inside the jungle. On two occasions I experienced close encounter with the king of the jungle - The Tigers of Corbett. Being a lover of nature I’ll be pleased to help and encourage anyone with a love for nature and wildlife.

I am a conservationist at heart and a marketing professional by training. After getting my MBA in Marketing, I worked for Fortune 500 companies, primarily in the area of Brand Management. This was a dream come true, because I had fancied myself a hot-shot marketer since college. There followed several enjoyable years managing brands, launching new products, and the other usual stuff. By the year 2000, it had become a little too usual and the corporate environment a little too constraining. I decided it was time to do something different. I started consulting for a few hours a week so that the rest of the time I could get involved in grass-roots conservation activities. There has been no looking back since then. I am an active member of several conservation organizations. I have been a rescuer and rehabilitator at a wildlife center, member and activist for animal rights organizations, member and committee chair for a conservation group, and a general busy-body citizen, writing and lobbying my elected representatives on a plethora of issues. I found, that the one common theme with all these organizations is that there is always less money than what is needed to get the job done. So, first, I renewed my adolescent search for the rich uncle who may have left me unimaginable wealth. Then, with an adult’s resignation, I came to the conclusion that perhaps I will have to come up with something at least a little more realistic. And so was born the idea of a travel company that helps people get acquainted with beautiful places that are worth saving, and contributing part of the revenues towards their preservation. Of course, this is being done by other bigger organizations, but we wanted to do it in a way that would have more broad based appeal. Travel, not just to out-of-the-way, less-heard of places, but also to the more popular places. The broader the appeal, the more funds we can raise. Well, that’s the current thinking anyway.
