With the cottages tastefully done with local granite, reclaimed Burma teak and colonial art deco furniture, the resort also offers its visitors the privacy of their own garden overlooking the perennial Gangavaar River and the coffee plantation. For those wanting to experience the spirit of adventure, the resort also provides for a tree house as well as tent houses with attached bathrooms on the border of the national forest.
Well aware of the unique bio-diversity of the area, the resort tries to do its bit by employing certain environmental friendly policies. Not only does the resort conduct an environmental awareness program for all ages where guests are initiated in various facets of vegetable gardening, seed sowing, transplanting, harvesting, compost making, earth worm cultivation, eco-sanitation, human-nutrition, water and soil conservation, forest botany etc, they also promote the conservation of genuine traditional varieties of vegetables and cereals through their organic farm where all types of fruits, vegetables and spices including coffee are grown by using traditional methods of organic farming. Not only this, but all the food that is provided to the guests come from the farm and cooked as per the traditional style.
Elephant Valley offers a wide range of activities to their guests. Visitors can take a walk on the wild side and discover the unique flora and fauna of the region, take a dip in the rivers, rivulets and natural pools that crisscrosses the area or better still go horse riding and feel the fresh air blowing your hair.
