The Kettuvallam is a traditional house boat known also as 'boat with knots' made of huge plank of Jack wood or 'Aanjili' and sewn with coir. In a Kerala village house boat or rice barge, you will get the amenities like washbasin, dining area, comfortable furniture to relax. Day-01:  Arrival at Alleppy

Arrive at Kochi International Airport to enjoy your Kerala House boat tour. Drive to Alleppy. Before hiring a houseboat with the help of our tour representative, you can visit the tourist attractions of Alleppy-- Mullackal Bhagavathi Temple, Alleppey Beach, coir making factories, etc. Now start sailing in the backwaters of Alleppy in traditional Ketuvalloms or houseboats to reach your next destination, Kumarakoram. While cruising in the houseboats, you will be thrilled by the green landscapes, a pastoral view of the nearby villages.

Day 02: Alleppy-Kumarakom-Departure

Cruising down in the houseboats from Alleppy, you will reach Kumarakoram today. Reaching, you can go for the fishing experience and the Vembanad Lake, at Kumarakom, the largest backwater in South East Asia.
