The Pindari Glacier
The Pindari Glacier Situated at an altitude of 3353 mtrs and between snow capped mountains of Nanda devi (7816 metres) and Nandakot is the Pindari Glacier, 3.2 kilometers in length and 1.5 km broad. Easier to visit than most other glaciers, the trek to the Pindari Glacier is a trekker’s delight with
the entire trekking route filled with pristine natural beauty.

ITINERARY
Day 1: Bageshwar - Song - Loharkhet
We leave Bageshwar after breakfast for Song (110kms) via Someshwar Valley, Kausani and Katyur valley before stopping at famous Baijnath temple. After visiting the Baijnath temple we move along the banks of river Saryu via Bharari and Kapot to reach Song in the evening. From Song, we begin our 3km trek to Loharkhet (1750mts). Night halt at Loharkhet
After breakfast, we begin our 11km uphill trek to Dhakuri (2690Mtrs). At Dhakuri, we can see the snow clad peaks of the southern wall of the Nanda Devi Sanctuary. Evening is spent by the bonfire at Dhakuri. Over night stay at rest house or tent.
Day 3: Dhakuri - Khati
Trek 9km from Dhakuri to Khati through enchanting forest and mountain villages. Over night stay at Khati which lies at the confluence of Pindari and Sundardhunga rivers.
Day 4: Khati - Dwali - Phurkia
After breakfast, we start our 16km trek to Phurkia via Dwali. Over night stay at Phurkia.
Day 5: Zero Point - Pindari Glacier- Phurkia
We leave early morning for our 6 km trek to Zero Point - Pindari Glacier (3820 Mtrs). Begin downhill trek to Phurkia in late afternoon/evening. Camp for the night at Phurkia.
After breakfast, we begin our down hill trek to Khati. Overnight at Khati
Day 7: Khati - Dhakuri
After breakfast, we trek from Khati to Dhakuri. Stay overnight at Dhakuri.
Day 8: Dhakuri - Song - Bageswar
After breakfast depart for Song and from Song to Bageshwar. Tour to Pindari Glacier ends here.
