Destination : Kochi - Parambikulam - Munnar - Thekkady - Kumarakom - Alleppey - Kovalam - Trivandrum

Day 01: Arrival at Kochi

The guests will arrive at Kochi International Airport where they will meet our representative awaiting them with a customised itinerary for extended Kerala wildlife tour. Thereafter you will be accommodated in a hotel where you will be spending the rest of the night as previously planned under this Extended Kerala Wildlife Tour.

Day 02: At Kochi

As you arrive at Kochi in the morning you will be able to experience the warm and friendly ways of its inhabitants and you will be charged up completely on this day for a memorable sightseeing tour of Kochi. Post breakfast you will visit ‘Queen of Arabian Sea’- Kochi including major attractions such as Fishing nets, Mttancheri Palace and some of the beauteous Hindu Temples, Churches and Mosques all telling saga of the rich heritage and harmonious past of the region. Return to the hotel in the evening.

Day 03: Kochi - Parambikulam

On this day of Extended Kerala Wildlife Tour guests will first enjoy a sumptuous meal in the morning and then will be driving to the next destination - Parambikulam. Covering a 7 hour journey will become a memorable experience as the guests will visit the spectacular Athirapilly waterfalls on the route and rounding up the Sholayar forest and verdant Valparai hills tea estates. As you arrive you will be accommodated in a hotel and after a short halt you will be visiting the Top Slip and the Center at Anapatty.

Day 04: At Parambikulam

At Parambikulam this South India tour will be scheduled for a full day excursion of the enchanting valleys of the region. Therefore post breakfast you will be driving to major sightseeing attractions of the region beginning from Parambikulam Wildlife Sanctuary to explore the lush vistas of the region. The park apart from owning diverse wildlife also owns enchanting sights of Annamalai Hills and other attractions thus guests will spend an entire day exploring these regions and then will return to the hotel for night stay.

Day 05: Parambikulam - Munnar

Morning breakfast will be served at the hotel at Parambikulam which will be followed by a four hour long drive to Munnar with paying an en route visit to Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary. The wildlife sanctuary is considered one of the most unique jungles because of its thorny vegetation and consists of a wide array of animals and birds including Elephants, Gaur, Sambar, Porcupine, and numerous birds. On arrival at Munnar you will be accommodated in a hotel booked befitting your preference for a night stay.

Day 06: At Munnar

Post breakfast on this day guests will be continuing a wildlife tour in South India. On this day guests will be taken to Eravikulam National park where between the lush greenery of tea plantations and forest you will be able to experience the accesses of Mother Nature. The safari to the park will provide you an opportunity to view its specialities such as Niligiri Tahr, and the stunning beauty of the region.

Day 07: Munnar- Thekkady

Day seven of this Extended Kerala Wildlife Tour will be spent enjoying another drive to the next destination- Thekkady which is about 3 hours drive through the sweet smelling cardamom hills of Idukki. At Thekkady you will be accommodated in a hotel for overnight stay and then will explore take a quick drive to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary as part of this wildlife tour package in South India. The park is a famous tiger reserve and is also famous for its dense evergreen forest adding to the splendour of the region and attracting numerous visitors every year.

Day 08: At Thekaddy

Post breakfast you will gear up for a full day sightseeing tour of the region as the guests will be going for various adventure and exhilarating experiences on their way. You can enjoy going for trekking and rafting amidst the surroundings of the park. You can also enjoy boating at Lake Periyar or go on a raft and then return to the hotel just in time for dinner.

Day 09: Thekkady - Kumarakom

Post breakfast you will be driving to Kumarakom on this day of Extended Kerala Wildlife Tour. Kumarakom is well known for its beauteous environs, tranquilizing backwaters, Cardamom, Coffee and Rubber plantations and hence will provide a brilliant experience to the guests. On arrival you will be accommodated in a hotel for night stay and then will take a drive to Kuamarakom Bird Sanctuary for enjoying a peaceful sight of birds such as waterfowl, cuckoo, owls and the ducks floating by.

Day 10: Kumarakom - Alleppey

Morning on this day of wildlife travel in Kerala guests will commence for a drive to the next destination- Alleppey. The land of scenic backwaters, houseboats and lush greenery, Alleppey is one of the most tranquilizing environs in the region. On your arrival you will board a houseboat and will sail through the calm water body of Alleppey. Also visit the spectacular St. Mary’s Church and catch the site of the rural settlements on the shores and return to the houseboat and enjoy the site of the setting sun.

Day 11: Alleppey - Kovalam

On the morning of this day guests will first disembark the houseboat on the banks of Kovalam situated around 4 hours southward from Alleppey. With the boundless beauty of Arabian Sea and backwaters all around Kovalam is embellished with heart warming beauty of sand and sun. Upon arrival in the region you will be accommodated in a hotel booked previously by our tour operator in Kerala for an overnight stay in the region.

Day 12: At Kovalam

Day twelve will be provided entirely for leisure in the region, guests will be given a whole day to themselves. Enjoy exploring some of the beauteous backwaters in the region or just relax at the beaches of Kovalam and then return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

 

Day 13: Kovalam - Trivandrum - Departure

The final day of this Extended Kerala Wildlife Tour you will begin the day with a sumptuous meal. Thereafter escorted by our representative you will be transferred to Trivandrum where you will be provided with all the pre arrangements for your comfortable journey back to home.
